Occurrence of urinary incontinence among pregnant women and after delivery, in early stage of puerpurium

Background
Urinary incontinence is defined as the complaint of any involuntary leakage of urine. Pregnancy and vaginal delivery are considered to be one of the main risk factors in the development of urinary in-continence.

Material and methods
We prepared inquiries containing questions concerning urinary incontinence, which have been given to women after delivery.

Results
The frequency of occurrence of UI among pregnant or women after delivery is 54%. 56% of them declared stress, 28% mixed and 16% urge urinary incontinence.
