Material and methods
We prepared inquiries containing questions concerning urinary incontinence, which have been given to women of different age.
Results
The frequency of occurrence of UI among Polish women is 14–76%. 67% of them declared stress, 29% mixed and 4% urge urinary incontinence. The frequency increases with body mass index (BMI). Either 48% who delivered or 20% who did not were incontinent. 58% postmenopausal vs 28% premenopausal women were in-continent. 47% physically vs 31% mentally working women were incontinent.
