Material and methods
150 persons took part in the research (100 women and 50 men). The pupils, students of physiotherapy and special needs education, the medical staff and teachers were included in the examined group.
They filled in the questionnaire form based on the Beck scale.
Results
In 40 (26.7%) of 150 examined persons depressive disorders were identified, however in 36 (24%) lowered mood was observed. Amongst 40 mentioned persons 26 (17.4%) were suffering from mild, 7 (4.7%) moderate and 7 (4.7%) from heavy form of depression. Group examined, that is 150 persons were divided also into 2 groups according to the age. 105 persons were included in the first group from an age bracket from 18–25. In this group in 30 persons (20%) depressive disorders were observed, including 19 coincidences of mild depression, 5 moderate, 6 heavy, and in 26 persons lowered mood was noted. Signs of depressive disorders did not occur
in 49 remaining persons. Persons from the second group were from an age bracket from 26–35. Depressive disorders were observed in 14 persons in this group, in it 7 coincidences of mild depression, 6 moderate, 1 heavy and in 10 persons lowered mood occurred. However 25 remaining persons did not show signs of depression.
